Yes it's Bob & family. R. Bryan Overton Gallery of Fine Arts just sounded better than this option, Bobby's Art Shack. It just sounded so groovy and kinda elegent.

I'm currently living in the Stillwater, Ok area, where I was born and returned to, after 14 years in San Diego, California. I lived in California again, in Studio City, in my thirties, while working in Beverly Hills and going to recording engineering school, for three years. Eventually, I married the love of my life, Nancy Busch, and she  gifted me with my twin daughters, Kendyl and Carolyn, of whom I couldn't be prouder..

On this page you will see how absolutely identical they are??? I will offer that we call Carolyn "amazon woman" but if you ask Kendyl, though seven inches shorter, she will be quick to let you know that she is two minutes older and therefore the "big sister" and I will offer, she is the dominant one. If you're interested in my girls, and fair warning, I am a proud papa, they are currently 15 years old (and yes they are my biological children, lol.). Our twins are fastpitch softball pitchers on their travel and school teams, as Kendyl playing 2nd base & OF, while Carolyn plays 1st & 3rd base. They have achieved straight A's since pre-K.  In addition, they are point guard and center on their basketball team, respectively. When their schedule permits, they attend church. Kendyl is an accomplished chef, please check out her page with the pics taken when she was 12. Carolyn is a budding animal artist, in color pencil, if interested see her page as well. Also, these girls are the happiest, healthiest most personable children that you would ever hope to meet.

Currently, as you can see on this site, I am a photo-realism artist in pastels, colored pencils, and charcoal. I also enjoy drawing/painting animals and In 2022 I will provide new efforts, if you come back. Currently you may view my older works,an ocean sunset pastel painting, inspired by my grandmother Ida's artistic excellence (see her pages, as well). I am a retired professor, with studies in education technology and distance learning. Prior to that I had returned to graduate school to receive a Masters in Educational technology and Doctorate of Education (all but dissertation). Before that I was general manager for Beltek Corp, where we designed, manufactured and exported equipment for a huge pipe coating plant for a sheik in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that I was a sales associate at Torie Steele Boutiques, Rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills (where Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman shot her shopping spree), and while there, I sold Fendi furs and high fashion to the rich and famous from all over the world. Concurrently, I was working as a recording engineer in LA studios. After high school I worked in construction, while graduating from OSU. Also, I toured with the vocal group, The Overtons. The Overtons were made up of myself, siblings Tamara, Kendall, and Lori. We performed as an opening act for Bob Hope and his orchestra at university field houses all over the US. We also  performed at state fairs, conventions, and night clubs through out our GREAT nation. The Overtons also recorded an album and many singles, as well, worked in recording studios in OKC, Tulsa, Nashville and LA. In point of fact, Kendall and I continue to have our tracking studio, in a barn north east of Tulsa. One of what I believe is one of my greatest achievements, is drawing the floor plans and then grabbing a hammer and saw, as well as many other tools, and with the help of my brother and two of my cousins built a 1,700 sq. ft. A-frame, literally, from from the ground up.

I apologize, at this point, for boring you with a few details of my life, and I'm sure I've been a bit braggadocios. Thanks for visiting this page, and tolerating me. If you have suffered through this page, I can only offer that I didn't share the flip side of life, so count your blessings...
